In 2015, CB Foods planted the seed for something extraordinary—a bold vision to turn Kingston into the heart of food tourism in the Caribbean. That seed grew into the Jamaica Food & Drink Festival (JFDF), a celebration of our island’s rich flavours, vibrant culture, and world-class talent.
From its very first staging, the world took notice. USA Today compared it to Miami’s renowned South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Yahoo! urged its readers, “If you travel to only one festival this year, make it the Jamaica Food & Drink Festival…” And back home, the Gastronomy Network under the Ministry of Tourism named JFDF a key driver in establishing Kingston as a bona fide Destination City.
By 2021, the vision had turned into victory—JFDF was crowned the World’s Best Culinary Festival and the Caribbean’s Best Culinary Festival, triumphing over global contenders like Dubai. That same year, the Jamaica Food & Drink Company launched the Jamaica Food & Drink Kitchen—Kingston’s first and only kitchen studio offering immersive cooking, baking, and mixology classes. From hands-on culinary workshops to cocktail parties with Jamaica’s top chefs, it’s a space where everyone—from curious foodies to seasoned cooks—can learn, laugh, and indulge.
In 2022, JFDF proudly won World’s Best Culinary Festival again—cementing its place on the global stage.
Today, the Jamaica Food & Drink Company operates independently, but CB Foods remains its proud Hosting Sponsor, helping to deliver unforgettable culinary experiences, year after year.

Back in 2006, CB Chicken kicked off the PAN Chicken Competition with one simple but powerful idea: to create a platform for the talented men and women who keep Jamaican culture alive through one of our most loved street foods—PAN Chicken.
Every year, PAN men and women from all over the island bring their best to the jerk pan to prove that their PAN chicken is what locals crave and tourists can't stop talking about. The competition would heat up with two major regional cook-offs, leading to the Grand Final—where the best from each parish battle it out for the champion title.
But PAN is more than just a cook-off or competition—it’s a full-on food festival packed with energy! From music and games to a Kiddies’ Village, prize giveaways, and performances from some of Jamaica’s top reggae, dancehall, and gospel artistes—it’s become a staple on Jamaica’s event calendar. What started with just 1,500 attendees has now grown into a massive celebration drawing over 30,000 people each year—both locals and visitors.
Most importantly, PAN is about people. Through our partnership with the Social Development Commission and other dedicated PAN partners, we’ve empowered more than 300 food entrepreneurs across the island. From day one, we've included business workshops, training, and employment opportunities—helping our participants level up their skills and their dreams.
In 2024, we took it even further. We redesigned the programme so that every PAN competitor and their assistant from every parish—not just the finalists—could benefit from the training, and we've intensified the training. Because our goal is to truly empower these hard-working entrepreneurs with the tools they need to start or grow successful food businesses.
From the jerk pan to community heroes and successful business owners—that's the power of PAN.
Launched in 2022, the True Pet Expo was created to bring Jamaica’s growing pet community together under one roof. But beyond being a feel-good event, the Expo is a catalyst for industry building, creating the space where passion meets purpose, and hobby meets opportunity.
From pet product manufacturers and distributors to retailers, breeders, groomers, trainers, veterinarians, and thought leaders, True Pet Expo connects every link in the chain. It’s a place where businesses grow, partnerships form, ideas spark, and innovation thrives. And at the heart of it all? The beloved four-legged friends we all care about.
This isn’t just an exhibition—it’s the foundation of a more structured, connected, and empowered pet care industry in Jamaica. An industry that supports entrepreneurs, promotes animal wellness, educates consumers, and celebrates the special bond between people and their pets.
As the Expo continues to evolve, so does the vision: to position Jamaica as a regional leader in pet care and companion animal innovation.
