Over two months ago, on Monday, October 13, the two organisations formalised the partnership with a signing ceremony at CB Group’s eco-industrial park, The Nest in Hill Run, St Catherine.

On the day of the event CB Group unveiled its four 2025 Geely Riddara RD6 all-electric mid-size pickup trucks being added to its fleet. The acquisition of the vehicles marks the beginning of the company’s broader transition to electric mobility, supporting its long-standing commitment to sustainability and innovation across its operations.

“CB Group has long been recognised as a leader in sustainable business practices, and their decision to electrify their fleet with Evergo reinforces that leadership,” shared Dr Wayne McKenzie, Evergo Jamaica President and CEO.
“This partnership shows how the private sector can take practical action to reduce emissions and operating costs through clean energy solutions.”

Evergo’s fleet service provides companies with a turnkey solution for electric mobility, including access to its more than 70 charging stations across the island, operational insights and dedicated technical support. By partnering with Evergo, CB Group benefits from reduced energy costs, greater efficiency and measurable carbon savings.
“Transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles is a natural extension of our sustainability journey,” explained Matthew Lyn, CB Group CEO.
“As a company deeply invested in Jamaica’s future, we believe in taking bold, practical steps towards cleaner energy and more sustainable business practices.
CB Group is Jamaica’s leader in sustainable food and agriculture, with over 40 years of expertise in animal genetics, livestock production, food distribution and plant cultivation. Recently named Most Sustainable Manufacturer 2025 by the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), the company is also the island’s largest corporate producer of solar energy and continues to champion renewable practices and a zero-waste approach.
This partnership between Evergo and CB Group highlights a shared vision of advancing Jamaica’s sustainable future through innovation, collaboration and environmental responsibility.
